PubMed Filters

PubMed Filters are important in evidence-based searching because it allows you to select specific types of articles such as clinical trials and systematic reviews.  It also allows you to limit your results by year for the most current research on a topic.

• Filters can be used to narrow your search results by: article type, age, year, species and other common limiters in health science research.
• Filter options appear to the left of your results. 
• Click on a filter to apply it to your search.
• Active Filters appear above your search results.
